A crofting township and, approximately 400m to the S, a farmstead (NG 479 642) are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). The township comprises twenty-eight roofed, five unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures and field walls. The farmstead comprises one roofed building, one enclosure and a field. There is a head-dyke to the W which runs from the farmstead field out to the W where it turns and runs N for approximatey 800m.
The current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968) shows the township comprising fourteen roofed, one partially roofed and seventeen unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and field walls, and the farmstead comprising one unroofed building, two enclosures and a field. The head-dyke is also shown.
