An unroofed long building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet xliv) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

The building shown on the OS 1st Edition map at NGR 274163 820428 appears to be the northernmost and longest, at c.20m, of a group of buildings (possibly around 10) and possible other structures in this location. They are visible on vertical aerial photographs and most measure between c. 7 and 9m in length. The longest of the buildings may be of a different phase as its size and character, being a more sharply rectilinear shape, are quite different to the others. Overall, it may be a small medieval-post-medieval settlement or a shielimng settlement <1>

Unfortunately the area was planted with trees at some point in 2020 without a survey first having been carried out and although a small number of the buildings were avoided (including the long building at the northern end) most appear to have been over planted. <2>
