Full Description
What may be a single unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874-5, sheet lxx), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 4 July 1996.
There is a large group of small, primarily oval-sub-circular huts and no doubt associated structures visible as earthworks in vertical aerial photographs at this location. They lie on both sides of Caochan A'Choire Sheilich, though those on the south side are clearer in form and some may be natural features. <1> <2>
