Full Description
An enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet lxxiii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1986).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 12 July 1996.
Within a modern fence, is a stone built enclosure 15m x 30m, containing two structures 3m x 8m and 2m x 8m, with a wall on the south side. Outside the enclosure, to the south, are footings of two more structures, 10m x 4m and 4m x 9m, plus several large clearance heaps. This is possibly the original farmstead of Ballinluig. Information from Ann Wakeling, 8/12/99. <1>
There is a larger area of features visible on Environment Agency LiDAR data (GIS spatial data amended accordingly). <2>
