The site of a school with associated structures and a well are marked on the first edition OS map at this location.
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989.
Caiolich. Ruins of old school, closed when Knockbain and Foxhole schools opened. Site of another car, still be pointed cut at Seanlios (OS 548421), also the old garden. <1>
