Full Description
Across boundary between parishes of Kirkhill and Kiltarlity & Convinth.
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989. Baloan Fare; site of burials in rough pasture, believed to be after a clan battle between the Erasers and the MacDonalds in 1429. Reclamation was discontinued here some years ago when human bones were uncovered. <1>
