Full Description
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989. Above Newton Hill, are a group of 3 cairns, centres 7 yards apart on forestry track, having been robbed to build an adjacent dyke.
After forestry extraction two unrobbed cairns nearby were visible. Also close to the upside of the forestry track, and further towards the east, three small mounds situated close together were seen. <1>
