Full Description
The Inverness Field Club, led by Donald Coghill, surveyed a number of sites in the Aird area between 1987 and 1989. Ladystone Plantation. There is a stone 4 feet x 4 feet x 11 feet now sitting on its edge at the side of an old mill lade for Ladystone Farm. This stone marks the lowest dawn point where armies were able to cross the Bunchrew Burn immediately above the gorge which reaches down to Bunchrew station. <1>
