Full Description
Centred at NH 507 162 on a NE-facing slope is a settlement of three circular stone walled huts (A-C), and the remains of a contemporary field system.
The three huts are much in the same poor state of preservation and are visible as platforms edged by a few intermittent stones. Each has an ill-defined entrance in the ESE.
'A' measures 16.0m in diameter. A late rectangular building foundation occupies part of the interior and another lies just outside the SW arc. 'B' is 11.5m in diameter.
'C' is 10.0m in diameter.
The field system is partly overlaid by later cultivation, but occasional stone clearance heaps and lynchets survive, and where best preserved in the 'E' several fields are evident, two measuring c. 35.0m x 20.0m and 10.0m x 5.0m.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
