Full Description

An enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet lxii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).

Sandaig
These sites were recorded by NOSAS in 2008/9 as part of an archaeological survey of outer Loch Hourn.

Site 1532. Adjacent to Site 1531, is a rectangular enclosure, consisting of 3 walls abutting the base of a low cliff. It measures c.11m x 6m internally, with an entrance in the short (SE) wall. Like Sites 1530 and 1531, it was heavily overgrown with bracken and brambles in 2008. <1>
