Two unroofed buildings, one of which has an attached enclosure, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet cxlviii). One unroofed long building of three compartments is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

These buildings were visited by Ken and Jean Bowker and noted in their basic photographic survey in 2006. It was described as a substantial ruin just off the old Lochailort to Glenuig post track, near Glenuig. <1>
