A grass-covered stone structure, 19m E-W by 4m by 0.5m high. (possibly remains of roofed building shown at ND 2289 7386 on the OS 6" 1872).
ND 2282 7378. Possible rig and furrow consisting of narrow ridges running N-S over an area 21 by 60m.
R J Mercer 1981
A roofed building is depicted on 1st edition of OS 6-inch map, (Caithness, 1876), sheet 1, approximately 20m E of the location given in Field Survey by Mercer (Mercer 1981). The depiction shows a building approximately 20m long which appears to have an extension at each end.
Immediately to N a pond is shown and to the S a small garden. The area of rig falls to S of the building where a track crosses from NE to SW.
