Full Description
NC70NW 4.04 7018 0636 and 7021 0634
Two hut-circles are situated on a ridge within the N half of the area enclosed by the Torbreck head-dyke. The N hut-circle (ROG95 345, NC 7018 0636) is levelled into the slope and measures 6.6m from N to S by 5.9m transversely within a stony bank spread to 1.1m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The second hut-circle (ROG95 346, NC 7021 0634) is situated on the leading edge of a small terrace and measures 9.5m in diameter within a boulder-faced bank 2.5m in thickness and 0.5m in height.
