NC70NW 4.05 7020 0594 and 7020 0594
Two large stone-walled hut-circles are situated on a grass- and bracken-covered ridge on the SW edge of one of the clusters of buildings in the township (NC 70NW 4.01).
The smaller of the two (ROG95 589, NC 7022 0594) measures 14.8m in diameter within a faced bank 1.5m in thickness and 0.6m in height. The N side of the interior, which has been levelled into the slope, has been overlain by a rectangular building (see NC70NW 4.01, ROG95 588) which forms part of the township.
The larger hut-circle (ROG95 590, NC 7020 0594) is situated on a flat terrace and comprises a C-shaped arc of bank, the E side having been robbed. It has measured 15.5m in diameter within a boulder-faced bank 2.4m in thickness and 0.7m in height. Running away from the outside edge of the bank on the N of the hut-circle, there is a subrectangular mound, which may be a souterrain; it measures 7.9m from N to S by 3.1m over a perimeter of edge-set boulders, and rises to a height of 0.3m.
