Full Description
In 1974, during construction of the new Ballachulish Bridge, a well-made cist built of slate slabs both in its sides and cover was uncovered by a dozer driver now working on the sewer construction works. It was chest height (?1.5m deep) and contained a crouched inhumation and pottery. It was sealed over and not disturbed further. <1>
