On the southern slope of the wide strath above the Ullapool River, east of Ullapool, lie two lime kilns side by side, 8m apart. With entrances to the N, the interiors contain multiple tumbled vegetated stones. Dimensions as recorded in 1997. The area around the kilns consists of flat pastureland, with dotted birch trees. The well-used Ullapool Hillpath, a walker’s track, lies down the slope 30m to the NW.
