Full Description

NC60NE 2.10 6940 0517

The bracken-covered remains of this hut-circle stand within an enclosure attached to one of the buildings of a pre-clearance township (NC60NE 2.05). The SE half has been obliterated, and most of the surviving wall, standing 0.5m high with edge-set facing stones, has been incorporated into the wall of the enclosure, but enough remains to indicate that the hut-circle measured internally 7.2m in diameter, and was set into the slope on the N, and terraced out on the S.
