A large area of flat stones, pitched at 30 to 40 degrees has been considered by Mr Macleod (Balmacaan Estate) to be the remains of a possible structure. Inspection suggests that, although the stones apparently form a building, there is no trace of walling and that the appearance is due to a fortuitous arrangement of frost-shattered stone that have slid down the hillside. Moreover, there is a lack of enriched grassland in the vicinity again suggesting that this is a natural feature.
