Full Description
A portion of a flat bronze ornament not unlike the shape of a penannular brooch was exhibited at the NMAS in January 1886. It was found on the farm of Mains of Croy, but not in the same place as the Croy Hoard (NH74NE 13) with which there is no known connection.
A Ross 1886.
There is no local knowledge of this object, either at Mains of Croy or Croy village.
