Full Description

Remains of an oval cairn, probably Neolithic. It was visted as part of a survey in 1995 of Abernethy Forset for RSBP. Heavily robbed and damaged by afforestation. Internal features difficult to judge, although there are signs of at least one and possibly more chambers. The cairn is about 13m long and about 7.5m wide at its widest point. Maximum height is about lm. It lies on a break of slope within 20m of a second cairn (see MHG29262), within a forestry plantation. <1>
