Full Description

A iron belt buckle, handmade with most of the pin attached., 100mm long, 53mm wide and 6mm thick.

A button or dress weight was discovered during metal deteacting at Balloch. It was sumbitted to Treasure Trove and was described as having a central circular indentation within which were two drilled holes. It was damaged, with a series of linear incisions along part of the outer edge. The object was disclaimed (TTNC 2019/039). <1>
