Full Description

Two shielings were recorded.

Orbost Estate Survey (1998), M Wildgoose. Site No. 43.
The remains of a twin celled figure of eight shieling which consists of a main cell which measures 5.5m by 4.0m overall, with a 2.0m diameter cell attached to it's north-east side. Immediately to the west is a 2.5m diameter green bump which may be the remains of a single cell turf structure.
