Full Description
I believe this to be a much modified but basically 18th C barn. There are cruck-type posts and beams with wooden pegs and evidence of the addition of a gable-end. The purlins are made of birch trunks. The footings look older than the rest. Doors in opposite walls (W & E) as appears in threshing barns.
H M Roger, Invergarry, 1998.
The building was listed at Category C in 2007 by Historic Scotland.
The building was re-assessed by HES in 2021 following a request to remove it from the list. It was found to still meet the criteria for listing. The listed building description was updated. <1>
