Full Description
Information about this site was submitted by Meryl Marshall along with a sketch plan. The ice house lies in a field near to NE corner of a walled garden. The edge of a chamber measuring 3.5m by 3.5m can be detected in undergrowth on summit of a small rounded knoll (man-made?). A kerb 4.5m long runs in E-W direction at southern edge of the knoll. <1>
The ice house is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1875. <2>
