Three unroofed buildings, one of which is a long T-shaped building of four compartments, one roofed building and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet xxiv). One unroofed and the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

A building is shown here, three other abandoned buildings were shown in 1875 at NM 5112 6325, NM 5140 6328 and NM 5150 6329. These buildings were probably cleared in 1828 to create a sheep farm. Only the first building lies within the SSSI. Enclosures presumably associated with this settlement extend up to the Allt an t-siucair towards Allt Choire Mhuilinn (NM56SW 5). Traditionally Coire Mhuilinn was the home of the killer of the Scandinavian prince buried at Borrodale (NM66SW 2). This has been a desk assessment area.
