C14 results have established that the burials may date back to the 10th century.

GUARD carried out rescue excavation of human remains that had been disturbed by the mechanical excavation of a pipeline trench for a new water main near Kintradwell House, Loth. The excavation found and recorded 16 burials, of which 11 were lifted. The burials lay near the supposed site of St. Trolla's Chapel, and may be of Early Medieval to Medieval date.
