Full Description

Water management feature on the Oldany River. At the NW end of the island in the Oldany River, the northern channel is blocked partially by a 6m long wall of overgrown stone and turf, leaving a gap 4m wide for the water to pass through, and an area 10m by 10m of calm deep water behind the dam. A retaining wall 10m long on the islands forms the SW edge of this 'pond'.
