Full Description

Borrow Pit.
Centre of a small borrow pit, located in a cleft of glacial moraine between the existing access track, 5m to its W, and the former track to the E. The borrow pit, measuring 10m across and 5m deep with a 3m high backwall, is now partly filled with rubble and boulders, and has a lip of grass-covered boulders at its access, cutting it off from the ‘new’ track. <1>
