Full Description

Borrow Pit.
Centre of another small, 4m diameter, E-facing borrow pit with a 3m high backwall, opening onto the old track, 30m uphill from Feature 055 (above). It has been cut into the same N-S-trending moraine ridge, parallel to the hillside slope, on the W side of which, the existing access track passes. <1>
