Full Description
Borrow Pit.
Centre of 20m long and 10m deep borrow pit on the E side of the old track, opening onto the track for its entire length. It is 2m high at its E backwall and is cut into a W-sloping hillside, and within the interior, there is a later deposit of heather-covered spoil material. <1>
