Full Description
Peat Cuttings.
S corner of old peat cuttings cut into a short heather-covered, gently undulating, moorland plateau. The W corner of these cuttings is 6m to the SE of the existing access track (see Plate 17) and the cuttings drain to the NW corner to join the ditch on the SE side of the track. The SW side of the cuttings trend 322 degrees for 12m from here and the NE side for 33m towards 040 degrees. <1>
