Full Description

Clearance cairn (possible).
Centre of short heather-covered mound, 20m to the N of and larger than that of Feature 067 (above), set on 100 W-sloping bracken, heather and grass-covered hillside, located 6m to the S of a post and wire fence and 40m to the E of the existing access track. It is 0.8m high on its E, uphill side and 1.5m high on its opposite, downhill side, and is 5m in diameter. Several cobbles and boulders protrude through the peat and heather on the mound, but it could well be a natural, glacial feature. Its proximity to the chambered cairn site of Feature 066 (above) 25m to its SW, warrants its inclusion as a possible cairn. <1>
