Full Description

Peat Cuttings.
NW corner of old peat cuttings cut into a short heather and grass-covered, 6 degrees W-sloping, flat moorland hillside. From here, the N edge of the cuttings trend 096 degrees uphill towards 283569 912320, with a few right-angled northerly steps, then turns N for 2m and W for 13m, enclosing a 2m wide baulk strip, before bearing N for 12m, E for 16m, S for 8m and finally E to the rounded NE corner at 283698 912311. From here, the E, uphill edge trends contour-parallel to the SE corner at 283687 912256, turning downhill for over 100m, with a couple of southerly right-angled steps, to the SW corner, which is 24m on a bearing 188 degrees from the NW corner. <1>
