Full Description

Peat Cuttings.
S corner of relatively modern peat cuttings. The edges are very straight and vertical, and, although they appear to be more recent than those to the NE described in Features 075 (above), and 077 to 080 (below), the exposed peat sides have a good growth of lichen covering them, indicating that they were not exposed too recently. The SW side of the cuttings trend from here towards 300 degrees and strip is 4m wide. <1>
