Full Description

Peat Cuttings.
W corner of rectangular area of old peat cuttings, cut into a short heather and grass-covered, 6 degrees W-sloping, flat moorland hillside. The NW side trends 050 degrees on the same SW-NE alignment as the NW side of Feature 079 (above), stopping at its N corner, 9m short of the above cuttings, where it turns at right-angles for 5m to 140 degrees. 10m to the SW of the W corner is a small, sinuous, NW-flowing burn emanating from the level area of boggy moorland in the flat saddle between the Allt a’Mhuilinn and Allt Smeòrail valleys. <1>
