Full Description

Grouse Butt.
Low, 4m diameter, disused grouse butt, cut into the hillside at its upper edge and built up at its lower edge and sides. There is a slight, 0.2m thick lip on the uphill side and the heavily eroded sidewalls, with some visible stone in their construction, survive to 0.3m high and 0.4m wide. The central area is very boggy and the former entrance opens to 303 degrees. <1>
