Full Description
Grouse Butt.
This low, 4m diameter, disused grouse butt has been cut into the 5 degrees NW-sloping, heather-covered NW flank of Cnoc a’Ghrianain’s N spur. The internal peat turf walls remain to 0.4m in height on the uphill, SE side and to 0.2m on the downhill, NW side, but here it is built up to a width of 0.7m. The former entrance opens to 315 degrees. <1>
