Full Description

Grouse Butt.
The only substantial traces of this disused, 4m diameter and almost completely eroded grouse butt are the 0.4m high and 0.4m thick peat turf walls of its NE side. A boulder appears in its construction in this remnant. The remaining walls are merely a trace on the ground and the central area has been turned into a bare exposure of soft peat. The former entrance opens to 315 degrees. <1>
