Full Description

Grouse Butt.
Partially eroded, 4m diameter, disused grouse butt, with only a 2.5m section of its 0.6m thick, S peat turf wall remaining to 0.5m high, is set on the gentle N-sloping side of the N spur of Cnoc a’Ghrianain. The remainder of the former butt has been completely eroded away, although its N and E outline can be traced as a low crescentic ridge and its former entrance opens to 316 degrees. <1>
