Full Description

Grouse Butt.
Almost completely eroded, probably primarily by the action of deer and the elements secondarily, this disused grouse butt remains as merely a 2m wide, horse-shoe shaped area of bare peat, with a central area of short grass. The remains of the whole structure are 4m in diameter and the former entrance opens to 279 degrees. <1>
