Full Description
Peat Cuttings.
Centre of extensive area of old peat cuttings in a level area of river terrace on W bank of Allt Smeòrail, between the break of slope to the W and the edge of the river terrace to the E. This slightly boggy area is now covered in sedge and grass, and remnants of baulks remain raised above the areas of peat extraction. <1>
