Full Description
Borrow Pit.
Centre of borrow pit adjoining the W side of the current Gordonbush to Breac-achadh access track, at the NE corner of the pine plantation to the SW. It is 13m across, 10m deep and 2m high at the backwall and contains the concrete pad of Feature 121 (below) on its floor.
Opposite the borrow pit, on the E side of the track, a large, grass-covered turning platform area has been formed, extending out from the edge of the track for 9m, with a steep drop down to the original E-sloping hillside profile, and is 15m long. <1>
