Full Description

Hut Circle.
Centre of the vague outline of a possible hut-circle, set on a small, low, broad knoll in this grassy/reedy, hummocky area to the rear of the derelict house of Feature 165 (below) at Breac-achadh. The walls show no sign of stonework, but are grass and moss-covered, spread to 2m thick and stand 0.3m high, above the lower, hummocky interior, and the interior dimensions are 9m x 7m, with the long axis trending 113 degrees. There is a vague, possible entrance opening to the S. Whilst being somewhat inconclusive, this structure is set in a position on which a hut-circle might occupy. <1>
