Full Description
Pit.
10m to the W of the existing access track, a 1.5m diameter, 0.5m deep, perfectly circular pit is dug into a gently SE-dipping, heather-covered slope, adjacent to a frequently used deer path. Its origin, use and date are uncertain, but it certainly appears to be a man-made structure and has a low spoil lip, 0.5m wide, around its perimeter. <1>
