Full Description

Clearance Cairn.
Grass and heather-covered, oval, whale-back shaped, peat mound, measuring 6m x 4m x 1m high, trending 004 degrees parallel to the hillside contours. Its upper side is steeper than its lower side and there is no stone visible in its construction. It is set on the heather-covered, moderately ESE-sloping valley-side of Allt Smeòrail, and the existing access track is 10m to the W and uphill from the mound. No associated settlement is visible in the vicinity; however, it may be obscured by an adjacent forestry plantation to the NW. <1>
