Full Description

Linear Boundary Dyke, NC 85076 12193 to NC 85141 12183.
A single line of boulders lines the N edge of the top of the steeply-incised valley of a small,l E-flowing tributary of Allt Smeòrail, defining the break of slope. The line follows the edge as it wavers down the small valley, and it has a 3m long, boulder dyke offshoot trending SW at the base of the break of slope, on the heather and bracken-covered lower river terrace. To the E of here, a 1m wide and 0.5m high spread tumble of small boulders, set 3m to the S of, and parallel with the small tributary, continues across the river terrace to the edge of the W bank of Allt Smeòrail, opposite the beginning of another boundary dyke on its E bank. <1>
