Full Description
Pit.
Cut into the SE face of a 5m wide, SW-NE trending 20 degrees slope which breaks an otherwise gently SE-sloping hillside, is a 3m diameter and 1m deep pit. There is a 0.4m high spoil lip on its downhill, SE rim. The hillside above the pit is covered in recently burned heather and the hillside below has a vegetation cover of rough grass and reeds. It is unsure to what this feature is related, being a great distance from any settlement other than the hut circle of Feature 190 (above), 50m to its SSW, which it appears to greatly post-date. <1>
