This is site No 12 in Stuart Farrell's pre-forestry walkover survey of Navidale Farm, October 2002 (report no 1021)
"Site revealed during walkover survey of rectangular building with kiln. Building is aligned SE-NW with bowl kiln to NW of 9m x 5m with wealls 0.5m wide and up to 0.4m high. Kiln is very well defined of 3.5m in diameter overall with bowl 1.5m in diameter and 0.5m deep, built into natural bank to a height of 1.4m length of field wall to S"
