Full Description
NG25SE 6.01 2870 5104.
Six shielings lie on either side of the Allt Beinn na Boineide at a point where it runs through almost level ground. To the E are three shieling-mounds between 6m and 7.8m in diameter and up to 0.5m in height (892-894) and to the W are three subrectangular huts, two large and one small. The two larger huts measure 4.4m long by 2.3m in breadth within stony banks spread to 1.5m in thickness and up to 0.6m in height; the smaller hut measures 2.3m in length by 2m in breadth within a bank 1m thick. One of the larger huts (895) has an inner kerb.
