Full Description
NG25SE 6.03 2910 5141.
This group of five shieling-mounds is situated between two branches of the Allt Beinn na Boineide on the SW flank of Beinn na Boineide. Four of them measure between 5m and 8m in diameter and up to 0.5m in height with the fifth, a much smaller mound only 3m in diameter. Only two show any traces of structures, of which the best preserved lies highest up the slope and has a small rubble-built enclosure on it, 3.3m across, with a pen built into it.
